DETAILS: Joining Raquel´s Sunday runs you will enjoy every single session, have the guidance, support and coaching of an experienced and highly qualified runner and running coach. The sessions will help you to achieve running distances from 5km to Half Marathon for 21.1km or longer runs as well. You will achieve long distances every Sunday coming to the sessions. Some of the long runs will be great for a marathon preparation as well.

Sunday running sessions are great sessions to get into running, get motivated, increase your running distances or speed supported by a coach, improve your running technique, avoid injuries running with a coach and following the right advice, run with others and have fun and meet new people. Great sessions if you enjoy outdoor training, fresh air and enjoy different running routes.

5km – 10km – 14km (City2Surf) 21.1Km (Half Marathon) – 42.2km (Marathon) event preparation

Canberra Marathon, Half or 10km (7 April 2024), Great Ocean Road Marathon and other distances (16-19 May 2024), UTA trail running races Blue Mountains (16-19 May 2024), HOKA Runaway Sydney Half Marathon (5 May 2024), Brisbane Marathon (June), Gold Coast Half Marathon & Marathon (July), 14km City2Surf event preparation (August), Sydney Marathon (September), Melbourne Marathon (October), Bondi to Manly Ultra 80km Solo or Relay (The Relay option divides the 80km Ultra from Bondi Beach to Manly Beach into four legs, roughly 20km each. It’s a great challenge to do with friends or colleagues), New York Marathon, Berlin Marathon, etc.

BEGINNER?: Start getting into running and improve little by little from your own fitness level. You are welcome to jog/walk or walk as well.

LOCATION: Centennial Park or within a 5km radios.

PACE: You will run at your own pace. Preferible take easy your long runs and keep your heart rate low. Use your aerobic system (instead of your anaerobic system), build endurance and last for longer by pacing yourself.

Distance option 1 – Long run (16/20km to 30/32km) – Option 1 TIME: 6:30am or 10/15min earlier or later. It depends on the run.

Distance option 2 – Short run (From 2/3km to 10km, or a bit longer) – Option 2 TIME: 7:30am or 10/15min earlier or later. It depends on the run.

Important information:

The sessions/packages of a 10-week running program don´t accumulate to new programs. However if you need to miss 1 Sunday Run, you are very welcome to join another group session to make it up.
